Bulk Hot

Salix 'Flame' - fast grower. Tolerates wet soil. Winter interest: 5-star

Taking inspiration from a phrase "Jeremy the Painter" used - "Bulk Hot" - which I very much like the vocal performace of - I have a series of "Bulk" terms I am using in the landscape.

"Bulk Green" I use to describe a situation where I am trying to shape or contour a space with plant "bulk." Since I am only forming space, "bulk green" must be very inexpensive to attain "bulk."

Here I'm using 25 Salix 'Flame.' #3 containers retail for about $20 each.
