Built in the late fall and early winter of 2012, the bioretention cell at the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus will on average capture 3,740,000 gallons of stormwater runoff annually.
Each gallon prevented from entering the storm sewer and either infiltrating back into the ground water or transpiring back into the atmosphere through the plants that follow. These images are put together as a record for those who need to maintain the plantings. Find the plants and images collected here: Comments are closed.
