Amelanchier: Return Visit

A wee bit ago I wrote a short piece on my dislike of Amelanchier. Yet, now as we move through autumn, we find possibly the highest season of interest for the Amelanchier.

Note: They're everywhere in the city. There is one planted at our warehouse. Several as street trees on Chenango, the street our warehouse is on. There is a small one at one of the neighborhood gardens, and this week, as we worked down at the Medical Campus - there are hundreds planted there.
Note: All of these trees were in the same places last fall. But, the intensity of fall color changes from year to year with this season being about as good as I can remember. So...the Amelanchier are looking brilliant; and, well, I have to share some pics.
Note: Just because a tree has amazing fall color one year doesn't mean I have to like it.
